Tuition fees

University fees depend on the student's country of origin and can vary from 407.00 euros up to 2,354.00 euros (as of a.y. 2016/17). For information about fee reductions and how they apply, please see section tuition fees for international students of the University of Pisa website.

Invest Your Talent in Italy

Scholarships for the attendance of the Master are also available through the "Invest your Talent in Italy" program, sponsored by the italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. University of Pisa has joined the program that grants an annual support to international students of 8.000 Euros and exemption from the tuition fees. Deadline for application is February 28, 2018. Welcome package for foreign students

The University of Pisa may decide to offer to foreign students, with priority to non-EU students, an one-month free accommodation (in a shared room), which may be extended to three months, and a free forty-hour Italian language course. The University provides further benefits for students with Vietnamese, Indonesian and Latin-American nationality. Health insurance coverage for non-EU students

The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies will cover the National Health System registration fees for the years 2018 and 2019 of non-EU students eligible for contributions provided by DSU.

DSU grants

The DSU is a regional agency, which offers the possibility of a special grant based on financial income and merit. The annual call for contributions is published in the month of July. DSU aids consist in scholarships (up to 1,600.00 euros per year), lodging grants, free meals at the University canteen, and tuition waiver. Further details about DSU grants are available here .

Merit awards

The TeCIP Institute and the Department of Computer Science will assign 4 awards of 2,000.00 euros each to the students who will achieve the best academic performance at the end of the first year.
